So I got an e-mail from the Tokio Hotel staff (weird I get the e-mails from them to find out whats new, I'm such a dork) I read it and it said that they were doing this mosaic of their fans pics and I am going to send in mine, as soon as i find a picture. Well, take one. I don't normally take pictures of myself so I'm going to need to take one, and soon because I want to be put on the mosaic.
That would be totally awesome! I have to tell my friends too though not many of them are huge Tokio Hotel fans because of their own reasons lol. But anyways...can't wait to get a picture up there and be part of something that's not part of my school for once.

My Favorite Commercial
I'm feeling a bit random right now and I was watching T.V. so my favorite commercial came on I don't know if you've seen it but it's got a song well more like rapping by George Washington.
Don't call it a comeback,
I've been here for years.
Rockin' my peers and puttin' suckers in fear.
Makin' the tears raining down like a monsoon,
Listen to the base go boom!
LOL. My sister gets so annoyed sometimes but I love it :D If you've seen it tell me what you think. What your fav. commercial? BTW now I have U.S. tv so get to watch all the cool commercials cause most of the commercials here in South America suck.

Do Re Mi Fa So La Ti Do!
Well I am in an okay mood today but who cares. I start singing lessons tomorrow! Yay! That makes me feel so much better. I don't know a lot about the guy but he sang and my great uncle's funeral(nice huh?) and he was really good. So my mom talked to him and asked him about lessons and stuff. And now I start tomorrow.
oh. my. gosh.
I have just received the most terrible news.
Anyone who is a big Tokio Hotel fan, or worse, a Gustav Schäfer fan brace yourselves.
Gustav was in a car accident yesterday. Thank God he was not seriously injured like poor Travis Barker but he is facing charges. This is what I have:
"The 20-year-old musician was in his BMW 3-Series on Tuesday afternoon in the German city of Magdeburg when the accident happened. He reportedly overtook a line of traffic and drove straight over tram tracks which had been blocked off. His car was then hit by an oncoming tram, skidded into the right lane of traffic and hit two further cars.
Schafer and his two passengers - Katharina Kretzschmar (29), the sister of SCM sport director Stefan Kretzschmar, and Denny E. (29) from Hamburg - were taken by ambulance to hospital, although they were only slightly hurt.
The drummer may still be feeling pain, however, as he is set to be charged with bodily harm due to negligence."
But why? Why would you swerve into tram tracks? And now all I can think is what if he was drinking and driving or doing something stupid like that. I hope Tokio Hotel isn't that affected by this. I have all these "what if..." thoughts running through my head and I don't know.
It's weird.

Electro/Techno Playin' In My Head

I really liked the album art for this CD.
So I was looking for some new music to put on my ipod and I was like, "Hey why not put on some of those like techno/electro songs you used to hear on the radio!" So then I started looking on google for some of the songs because I couldn't remember the names at all. So I finally ended up with, Junior Senior-Move Your Feet, Daft Punk-Around The World, Fatboy Slim-Rockafellar Skank, Darude-Sandstorm, ATC-Around The World, The Chemical Brothers-Do It Again, and David Guetta-The World Is Mine.
All of these are really cool some are a lot more different than the others. I didn't know exactly what category they went under. They are fun and some of them carry a lot of memories for me(lol). So check them out cause the beats in some of them are really good, although I must warn you if your not like really into the techno deal them maybe Sandstorm isn't for you. Junior Senior-Move Your Feet is one of my favorites though that one is really cute and cool. Rockafellar Skank I think about everyone has heard and has a really good beat to it.
So I hope you like the music I know I do. Please if you know any other popular song that are like these, kind of electro/techno, please tell me because I think there are some that I am missing.

Mindless Self Indulgence
Left To Right: Kitty, Righ?, Jimmy, Lyn-Z
Another band! Warning: Not for virgin ears. They have awesome beats though, Bullshit is really good and Never Wanted To Dance. They are insane live here's two links this one is the dude lead singer dancing all cool lol http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hPNPqIIgTj4 then this one is the bassist doing this back bend thing it's really cool too http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q4f9HEFnYU4&feature=related the video is all about her but they have good shots of her back bending and playing at the same time. So cool!
Well like I said not for virgin ears. Most of their music is bad word after bad word but I love them anyways. They have four albums, Tight(1999), Frankenstein Girls Will Seem Strangely Sexy(2000), You'll Rebel To Anything(2005), and If(2008). Their extended plays are, Despierta Los Niños(2003) and Another Mindless Rip Off(2006). And their live recordings are Alienating Our Audience(2002), Our Pain, Your Gain (DVD)(2007).
This is the band:
Jimmy Urine(James Euringer): Vocals, Born: September 7, 1969, Other Info: He is married to Chantal Claret lead singer of the band Morningwood.

MTV Music Awards Latin America
I watched them this morning and it wasn't that great but still I like watching award shows so whatever. My mom got really pissed off when Tokio Hotel won best song she was all, "This is the Latin American awards, they are German! Not even American!" then she goes on with, "I'm going to send an e mail to MTV Latin America saying that Latin Americans should be winning these awards..." blah blah blah. lol well anyways Tokio Hotel won 4 awards(YAY!), 30 Seconds To Mars won one, Belanova, Juanes won tons, and there were lots more but I can't remember.

Metallica preformed their new song which I can't ever remember the name of, it's something like The Day That Never Comes...or something like that, I'm sorry if I got it wrong. Paramore preformed, they were pretty good same as usual I've seen Hayley do better. Belanova preformed and she sounded exactly like the last time I heard her live, like a chipmunk. Then Tokio Hotel had preformed and Bill lip sinked!! I hate it when people do that because you can so tell it's not their real voice, everyone else really sung except them...they couldn't have sung worse then some of the other people on there.

I honestly do not understand what was going on with Bill's wardrobe that day. The rest of them look decent but Bill...WTF!? Their like...tights!!! Seriously what was he thinking. I mean usually he can pull anything off but those tights/pants things need to be burned and the ashes need to be thrown into a dump. No one should ever be caught wearing those things. I feel so bad for him...and the next person we're going to see I feel even worse for. Poor Katy Perry. But it looked HILARIOUS!

OMG!!! That was probably the best part of the whole show, at least I think so. The cake was all hard and she like bounced and then she slipped and fell about 4 times. Awesome I will remember it always and if not I'll always be reminded of because now it's on the Internet.
If you didn't get to see the awards you didn't miss much you can always check out mtvla.com for the award winners and see pics of the whole thing.

Countdown

So two big things are going on or coming up actually and they are: 1. The Latin America VMAs 2. Halloween. I haven't decided yet if Halloween is my favorite holiday. Everyone always loves Christmas but lately Christmas has been really sad, you know what I got last year, another speaker set for my ipod but me and my sister have to share it, and a sweater that is bright ugly pink with brown ugly buttons that makes me look fat. I wore it once or twice to make my mom happy and now it sits in my closet gathering dust. That almost always happens with the clothes my mom buys me. I love her and all but sometimes she just doesn't know anything about my style, at least she tries I guess. Oh my mom bought me a whole bunch of other clothes but she got them about two sizes too small so there was no way those things would fit. I was supposed to get myself some new clothes but never got around to it.
I think the VMAs are supposed to be today but I really have no idea, besides they'll probably show them like 50 million times on MTV. Over and over and over again. So there's no way I'll miss it. A little birdie told me that Katy Perry was hosting it and Tokio Hotel was going to present an award or something. She also said they might preform. My sister and I both said that Paramore, Tokio Hotel, and The Ting Tings were going to win an award.
Well right now I'm getting into the Halloween spirit, listening to the Nightmare Revisited album. I love The Nightmare Before Christmas. It's probably my favorite movie. I'm a huge fan of Tim Burton and his movies. I guess that's about it for now. Hope you have an awesome Halloween!

Panic! At The Disco

I love this band! They are really cool and their sound is not like most music I've heard. If I'm looking for a vain subject with an upbeat tune to listen to I always go for A Fever You Can't Sweat Out. Also if you are looking for music that calms you down and just sounds nice I listen to Pretty Odd. Panic! At The Disco's sound has changed a lot since the last CD, at least that's my personal opinion.
Panic! At The Disco's members are these:
Brendon Urie - vocals, guitar, keyboards (2004-present)
Ryan Ross - guitar, keyboards, vocals (2004-present)
Jon Walker - bass guitar, vocals (2006-present)
Spencer Smith - drums, percussion (2004-present)

Music Obsessed
Hey I found out that there is another person that has a blog called music obsessed. She(or he who knows) took the link that has obsessed spelled right lol. She hasn't updated her blog in forever and I hope she has a good reason becuase it's her fault I can't make a new blog with obsessed spelled right.
We do share the same dislike of Miley Cyrus I guess and so I guess that's why I am not entirely mad at her for not posting since like April or something. Great now her blog is like being retarded, either that or my internet but internet seems to be working fine.
http://www.musicobsessed.com/ That's the link you might want to check it out becuase I think mine is a lot better. Or maybe it's just me :P I don't know you be the judge.

Something I'm Not
Ever tried to be something you weren't, maybe because you were trying to get someone to notice you, or your were trying to fit in, or maybe you didn't feel good enough. Unfortunately I fell into that. I was trying to be something I wasn't to get this one dude to like me, well it didn't work and I made myself look like a retard. Holy crap that was bad, I don't want to go into details but I was looking at my space on hotmail and I had all these pics of things that weren't me. I was acting like it was inside me the whole time and it wasn't heck no it wasn't. I'm so glad that I am myself again. Well I have changed but in a way that's me. I like it. So if you ever fall for changing yourself then I hope you find yourself as fast as you lost yourself and if it hasn't happened to you then good I hope that you stay the way you want to be. Don't be caught acting like a fool trying to be someone else.
My Journey...Through The German Language
Guten Tag, Guten Morgen, Gute Nacht, whatever. So I am starting to learn German. Why because I'm an idiot and I don't want anyone(well, the majority) to understand what I'm trying to say. Muahahaha evil. Lol I just don't like it when people know what I'm saying, living outside the U.S. for so long now walking down the street no one knows what I'm saying because I'm speaking English, it feels good. Well it makes me feel comfortable. So I'm trying to learn German a) because majority won't be able to understand b) well I guess I kind of made this one up now but if I ever get to meet Tokio Hotel I could understand whatever the hell they were saying about me. Plus I would be able to finally understand fully what they are trying to say in their German songs without having to ask someone else online.
Wish me luck I guess but it doesn't seem to look that hard. I'm doing it all in my spare time(whatever spare time I have). I might add some German to my posts but don't worry you'll be able to understand I won't make it that hard and I'll probably add what it means in parenthesis. So good luck to all you other people trying to learn a third or second or whatever number language.

In The Middle Of Summer, All Was Golden In the Sky
I never thought that there would ever be a moment in my life that I would feel completely and totally in bliss. I don't even think bliss is the right word but I was in a total state of happiness. And all it took was a couple keys on the piano. I swear, I'm not kidding.
It all started when I was so angry I was crying because of my two younger brothers, I hate them, well you know how it goes blah blah blah. Seriously they never shut up and the youngest he thinks he is the boss and he can tell ME what to do, I am 8 years older than him. He's such a smart ass too. Ugh well needless to say I was angry, angry out of my mind, screaming in the bathroom and crying(I cry when I'm angry) so I was trying to do my homework now kind of feeling a little better, Math. I don't mind Math at all, I kind of find it calming. So I decided to put on Pretty Odd by Panic! At The Disco, I have no idea why I put it on because I had never listened to the whole album before. So I did and the first song that really caught me was She's A Handsome Woman. I love that song now and this is the song that brought me to complete and utter happiness. So the part I'm talking about is right before he says "innocence" at the beginning of the song. I can't begin to describe how just those couple of keys brought backs o so many memories. I had goosebumps and a smile on my face.
Another song that was really nice but didn't have the same full on effect as She's A Handsome Woman was Northern Downpour. I really really like this song because of the intro which begins at the end of the song I Have Friends In Holy Spaces. This whole album is just completely relaxing(although I usually skip the first two songs). Tell em what you think about the album or the songs or if you had an experience like me :) Thanks TTYL.

Today's Over... Tomorrow's Already Known
Well wow my life is boring. I know everything that will happen tomorrow and the next day and the day after that, soon hopefully in some near future my life won't be this boring. I'll have something to look forward to, for now I know what my goal is and I know I will achieve it. I know that it's what I want to do for the rest of my life and I could not think of anything else that I would want to do. For now I'm just Carina Velazquez a nobody.
Well there's really nothing important about what will happen tomorrow. I'll wake up, get on the bus, go to PDR, then English, then Social Studies, then when lunch is over I'll go to P.E. then leave for home. If it's a good day I won't have to fight with my brothers if not then I don't want to think about it. It will all start over again the next day of course. So wish me luck and I'll wish you yours becuase one day this will end but for now we're living another day in our boring lives(well at least for some of us).
I know I really shouldn't be complaining there are people who have it much worse but I dont' feel very good today so just bear with me. I guess really looking at it my life could me much more boring and plain. I could be living to die but I have a dream and I know once I get there I will look back at all of this and say, "I really did have a nice life." Well ttyl for now and thanks for reading :D

Today's Aim: What Is An Emo?

Let's begin. Well if your like me and like to wear black and live with people who don't know crap about emos then I'm guessing you've been called one. See I live in Colombia and people here don't know crap about what exactly an emo is. Let me explain to all of you who don't know what an emo is. First off emo stands for EMOtional get it so obviously you get one of the main points of an emo. They dramaticize(is that even a word?) everything for example music lyrics-makes 'em cry(well we all do sometimes but they find ways to make most things sound extremely depressing) or maybe fire burning paper they'll find a way. As I was saying about being EMOtional, let's say your boyfriend breaks up with you or your just really really depressed one day, and emo would probably cut their wrists. As a parody of Fergalicious says, "Emo-licious definition cut my wrist and die."
If you watch What Is Emo? on YouTube you can see that Emo is a subdivision of Goth which is a subdivision of Punk. Emos like to wear a lot of black. Their style consists of black jeans sometimes skirts for girls with striped knee high socks and converse. They also like to wear arm warmers or just random striped arm wear. BTW I would like to add that I love the "Emo style" and I would wear clothes like that almost all the time if I could(my parents grr) but this does not mean I am Emo, just because I like the style doesn't mean I am Emo this is where all the people at my school get confused.
As we watch What Is Emo? we can see from Moonshine23 what an Emo is to him, "Basically Emo is like when no one understands you and your whole life is just like a spiralling black hole of emotion. Like I'm so depressed right now I mean I went to the barber and now my hair doesn't do that flicky thing like that guy from the band like it did before(I think that's what he says)."
Now you understand basically what an Emo is please do not call people Emo when they are not because some people just don't like it when you call them that especially when they are entirely against Emos(I'm not but I know people). Some people get annoyed when you call them the same thing like 5 billion times(my case). Thanks for reading and understanding and if you didn't then that's your problem go watch a video or something. Bye!

Plane Crash DJ AM and Travis Barker Seriously Injured

I have just been informed that Travis Barker and DJ AM have been in a plane crash. Please everyone wish them your luck. They are awesome and really talented and if they ever were to not be able to go back to doing what they do best then I don't know what I would do.
They are both seriously injured but I hope that Travis can go back to drums and DJ AM can go back to DJing. Hopefully he will recover and his burns won't affect him that much. Please everyone wish them luck and I hope they recover well.

Metro Station

"In 2006 the siblings of Trace Cyrus and Mason Musso introduced them to each other on the set of Hannah Montana which stars Mason's brother, Mitchel, and Trace's sister, Miley. Sharing musical interests, they decided to form a band.[4] Shortly thereafter, Cyrus recruited Blake Healy from Synthetic Joy as a keyboardist, synthesist, and bassist. Trace remained the singer and the lead guitarist. Mason is the main singer and guitarist, along with Trace. He sang the track "Seventeen Forever", which they released on their MySpace Music website. The track gained the attention of percussionist Anthony Improgo, who was soon added as the band's drummer. Their popularity on MySpace Music grew, topping the MySpace Music Unsigned Band's charts. An intern in Columbia Records' Walking Eye program discovered the band while looking through the MySpace Music charts, and they were signed shortly thereafter."(Wikipedia-Metro Station)
I just wanted to let you guys know how they got together and since I'm too lazy to re-write it myself I copied it for you. This band is really cool I have liked them from the beggining so there wasn't any I hated them then really liked them like some people I know. Anyways this is the band if you got kind of confused at the beggining:
Mason Musso - vocals, guitar
Trace Cyrus - guitar, vocals
Blake Healy - synthesizer/bass
Anthony Improgo - drums
I am going to buy their album, Metro Station, soon but I have been listening to their songs a lot online. You know I really wonder if Miley and Trace get along? I really want to know 'cause they seem pretty different. Well tell me what you think...bye.

Evanescence

This band has been around for a while now. They have changed thier memebers over time and now I think we know why. Amy Lee thinks too highly of herself. She recently said something about Evanescence being her and just her. I don't know about you but if I was in a band with someone like her I would leave. She does have an amazing voice though and an amazing vocal range. This is the band, now at least:
Amy Lee – lead vocals, piano, keyboard (co-founder, 1995–present)
Terry Balsamo – lead guitar (November 16, 2003–present)
Tim McCord – bass guitar (August 10, 2006–present)
Some really popular songs from them are My Immortal, Going Under, Call Me When Your Sober, Lithium, and Good Enough. Personally I also like Imaginary, Haunted, Snow White Queen, Lacrymosa, and Like You. Thier albums are Fallen, and The Open Door. Fallen is more rock, I like it better than the open door but that's just me. The Open Door is more classical and orquestra type. Recently Amy Lee redid a song from The Nightmare Before Christmas called Sally's Song. I heard part of it and thought it was very good compared to some of the other covers.

Armor For Sleep

I remember the first time I saw them. I loved the video for Williamsburg but I really didn't know who they were I just remembered how I thought the video reminded me of School Of Rock and that it was funny. They are like rock/alternative music, another video of thiers is Hold The Door. Personally I don't like that song as much as some of their others on the Smile For Them album. This is the band:
Ben Jorgensen - Vocals, Guitar
PJ DeCicco - Guitar
Anthony DiIonno - Bass
Nash Breen - Drums
They are from New Jeresy and they have three other albums which are Dream To Make Believe, What To Do When You Are Dead, and The Way Out Is Broken (EP). Some really good songs from this band that I know are End Of The World (featured on Transformers soundtrack), Lullaby, Stars In Your Eyes, Williamsburg, and Smile For The Cameras. I dont' know much about them becuase I started litening to them recently. If you have anymore info or comments please leave a comment. Thanks and hope you check them out! Oh by the way, they have a youtube account called armorforsleep. They have four episodes so go watch them if you seem interested. Bye!

Nevada Tan/Panik!

I have to thank Crystina for introducing me. These guys rock. As I said before their sound is a lot like Linkin Park although they do not like being compared to them. They also go by the name Panik! These are the band members:
Frank "Franky" Ziegler, Vocals, Birthday: April 28, 1987
Timo "T:mo" Sonnenschein, Rap, Birthday: September 20, 1987
Christian Linke, Bass/Guitar/Vocals, Birthday: March 11, 1987
David Lauden Bonk, Guitar/Piano/Vocals, Birthday: February 06, 1988
Jan Werner, DJ, Birthday: March 01, 1988
Juri Ibo Kaya Schewe, Drums, Birthday: November 24, 1986
I found out about Nevada Tan becuase apparently Bill was listening to them once and Crystina told me about them. I started listening to some of thier music and I loved it. I don't understand what the songs mean but the music is awesome! Some good song by them are Neustart, Geht Ab, Neimand Hort Dich, Revolution, So Wie Du, Vorbei, and Warum? They are more rock, they scream in most of thier songs so if your not into that then you might not like them. Like usual guys if you've got anything else you'd like me to add then comment, thanks!

VMAs: The Show!

The show was pretty cool. I got to stay at a friend's house we had a VMA party. So it started and Britney was there starting it off for us. Then comes Rihanna who wasn't that great. She sang Disturbia which is a pretty good song but did make my cut. Her voice was a little off maybe nerves? Well Russel Brand's jokes were a bit vulgar for the states I think but they were funny especially when he was bashing the Johnas Brothers, hilarious :P So by the end of the night we saw Travis Barker (best drummer I've heard in my life), Christina Aguilera, Rihanna, Lil' Wayne, and much more.
Paramore also a band I like was preforming at the VMAs unfortuantly it wasn't her bast prefomence. I have definetly heard her sing better but you know maybe nerves? So I added some pictures of Rihanna and Paramore. Katy Perry also preformed, I don't reallu know what to say about her I forget what she sung but I remember telling myslef that she was always wearing these short things and that she could have been better but it is a lot of pressure there are a lot of celebrities in that one building kind of freaky. Also Lil' Wayne and TPain preformed Lil' Wayne's pants are like under his f-ing ass but whatever that's him. I also added some pics of these guys. Tell me what you thought about the preformances that night. Good? Bad? Whatever

VMAs: Another First!!

Tonight was the VMAs it was my first time watching the VMAs on television ha pretty sad huh. Well Tokio Hotel won Best New Artist this year, Congratulations!! And Linkin Park won Best Rock Video, Congratulations!! Britney won three Go Britney!! Best Pop Video, Best Female Video, and Video of The Year! So many exclamation points and so much happiness!!! THANK GOD MILEY CYRUS DID NOT WIN ANYTHNG! One very big thing I would like everyone to know that saying I am a Miley Cyrus Hater would be an understatement.
I guess I should start with how Tokio Hotel arrived to their first VMAs. It's the picture at the top of course. That was the most awesome way to get to teh VMAs a monster truck lol! It was really surprising I had no idea. Next T Pain arrived on an Elephant! He tried but the votes were in and Tokio Hotel won best entrance. Next cool arrival was Fall Out Boy, they didn't get a lot of coverage when I was watchign it on MTV but they arrived in a carrige type thing, it was pretty creative too. Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry arrived together, Katy Perry being probably one of the worst dressed that evening. But we'll get more into fashion in another post. Basicaly the coolest part of the pre-show was when Tokio Hotel arrived well for me at least. If you saw the pre-show remember to leave a comment on what you thought. Thanks!

Linkin Park

"I want to runaway,
Never say goodbye.
I want to know the truth,
Instead of wondering why.
I want to know the answers
No more lies
I want to shut the door and open up my eyes."-Runaway, Linkin Park
Keeps running through my mind all the time at least on the days I get mad at my mom. This thing is taking me "One step closer to the edge and I'm about to break."-One Step Closer, Linkin Park haha Well basically yea. I wouldn't have a place to go so I learn to deal with the yelling at my house but I do love my parents and they love me. I know I would break thier hearts if I left like that. I don't need to tell you why you get the main point so I don't need to get into detail don't worry (if you are) it's mostly my dad's yelling becuase of my cousin that lives with us now (don't need to go into detail either) he doesn't know the first thing about anything. He doesn't listen, he doesn't pay attention, he doesn't do anything. It's not like he's going through a rebellious stage, he's in first grade now. Well anyways Linkin Park:)
Band:
Chester Bennington - vocals(screaming)
Rob Bourdon - drums, percussion
Brad Delson - lead guitar
Dave "Phoenix" Farrell - bass guitar, back-up vocals
Joe Hahn - turntables, programming, samples
Mike Shinoda - emcee, vocals(rapping), guitar, keyboards
This band totally got me. They mix rap and screaming perfectly another band that you could relate to them might be Nevada Tan/Panik. We'll go into more detail later. So some more famous song by them would be What I've Done, Crawling, In The End, Breaking The Habit, Numb, Shadow Of The Day, and Given Up. I really started liking them last year. Crystina again thanks for letting me borrow all the cds lol. So they write about more depressing maybe to some people lyrics. They have a lot of scream in some and less screaming in others. If you dont' like the screaming deal much you might want to listen to In The End, Shadow Of The Day, Leave Out All The Rest, and Valentines Day, but if you really like the screaming then Given Up, One Step Closer, Don't Stay, and No More Sorrow are totally for you. For rapping you probably want to get the Reanimation Album. I love that album they remixed the songs awesomely, personally I think P5ing Me A*Wy is better than the normal version.
I don't know much about their backgrounds but they write a lot about high school or middle school (can't remember which one). Mike Shinoda(Rapper) has another band called Fort Minor, they have some pretty good songs, the best to me is definielty Rememeber The Name. If you have anything you want me to add comment! Thnks:)

Will The Real Kaulitz Twins Please Stand Up
I love it when people say that they are Bill or Tom Kaulitz and they're NOT. I mean seiously what people belive that kind of stuff?! If I was famous would I give out my email so you could talk to me whenever you want heck...wait well it depends I would give it to my close friends but to strangers, why? So I just kind of felt like writing because I see this kind of crap on YouTube all the time. It's kind of funny at the same time becuase you have these crazy fans that actually belive these fakes. Then later the fakes turn out to be pervs and ask you for pics and shit like that. So I guess watch your back and don't be so naive not everyone in this world is nice and happy and just want to be friends.

Tokio Hotel

HAHAHA!!!! This band is on the top of my favorite bands right now and I thought it was pretty funny that I know the most about them and barley anything about other bands. Kind of sad I know I need to do some more research oops. Well enough about that, Tokio Hotel first I'm going to put down all the members (in case you don't know them already):
Bill Kaulitz: Singer, 18, 6ft. 2, twin brother of Tom Kaulitz
Tom Kaulitz: Guitar, 18, 6ft 2, twin brother of Bill Kaulitz (duh)
Gustav Schafer: Drums, 19, 5ft 7
Georg Listing: Bass, 20, 5ft 10
You may know them from magazines, t.v., or the internet, well if you haven't you could probably find them easily you could check thier youtube page out http://www.youtube.com/user/tokiohotelchannel?ob=4. They are pretty funny sometimes. There are plenty of tokio hotel fans blogging also for example http://www.tokiohotel.blogspot.com/, there you can find lots of other fans too.
Tokio Hotel are a german band. Personally I like their songs in german better than english but that's just me. Some really popular songs of theirs would be Monsoon (Durch Den Monsun), Ready, Set, Go! (Ubers Ende Der Welt), Scream (Schrei), Rescue Me (Rette Mich), and Don't Jump (Spring Nicht). These are songs that are very popular but they are not the only songs that are good, some song that I really like are, Ich Bin Nich' Ich, Gegen Meinen Willen, Live Every Second (Leb' Die Sekunde), and Beichte, oh and Ich Brech Aus (Break Away). Thier music can range from depressing topics to totally upbeat and makes-you-want-to-dance kind of songs.
BTW, think what you like about the people their music rocks all the same and FYI they aren't gay. I don't want your comments if all your going to do is bash the band this isn't what this is about.

Hello and Welcome/ A Little Bit about Me
The title says it all. Well this is a blog I have just started because I figured out that you can have more then one blog. Right now I have two blogs, this one and one I have for english class. In case you want to know it's just carinavelazquez.blogspot.com. So thanks for visiting I'll have more posts up soon about tons of bands that I love and ones that I am learning about :) Please comment and tell me what you think about the bands and your music preferences.
I was born in Maryland I don't know where so don't ask, I was born on the sidewalk. Hahaha yea I know you don't think it's true well it is you can ask my mom ok well maybe you can't but you have my word I'm not lying. Well soon after that I moved to Virginia and shortly after I turned two my sister, Ariana, was born, two years later my brother, Adrian, was born. Middle of kindergarden I moved to Frankfurt, Germany. After first grade I moved to Miami, changed schools after 2nd grade then moved to Key West after 3rd grade. In the middle of 5th grade i moved back to Miami for half a year then to Mexico City, Mexico. I had a sort of revelation there, first off my sense of fashion changed haha lets just say before i got there i wasn't the best dresser (hey I had worn uniforms practically my whole life). Then I moved to Bogota, Colombia after 7th grade. I'm here right now and let me tell you I have had the worst times of my life here. First Daniela Perez she was a whore and now she's gone thank god. Then there's the retarded school I go to. Well here I have dicovered so many bands and learned more about bands I already liked, for example Placebo, Evanescence, Linkin Park, Arctic Monkeys, Muse, and 30 Seconds To Mars. Bands I learned about here are Tokio Hotel, Nevada Tan, Flyleaf, Paramore, and Papa Roach to name a few. Right now I am 14 and in 9th grade really nice of me to leave that last :P Hope to hear from you soon and thanks for visiting!
